As we celebrate our « 20th birthday », we thought that it was about time to find a very short and simple phrase that could describe our artistic feature, without reducing it!

Then, we exclaimed all together : « Music before everything else !»

Ok, but our short tales, our characters with clown hats or football player studs, our acrobatics, our childishnesses, our soft insolence… is that only music ?
Well, no !
So, we thought about :
Contemporary (or not) Instrumental Drama
Let’s be accurate… Contemporary, or not ?

If we just listen distractedly, the very eclectic musics of Carnet de notes or Couleurs cuivres could keep us guessing…
But, our last two shows, Prelude à un après-midi aphone and Parole d’oiseau ! explore contemporary music from every angle…
And we loved playing this music so much, that we will ask determinedly current aesthetics composers to create music for our shows to come.

Then, contemporary or not ?
Finally, in our way, and only if it doesn’t prevent us from having fun :
Yes, definitely contemporary!
