Odyssée ensemble & cie
These five brass players and percussionists, exist since 1986 and count an active outcomme of one thousand representations in France and foreign countries, eight worldwide shows of musical works and five records of which XX has been honored by five diapasons / tunningforks.
Resolutely it orientates itself towards a musical show and asserts itself as one of the most creative and inventive musical bands, permitting to reachout towards a large repertoir inciting new possible works.
The musical encouters of Odyssée ensemble & cie
The story of the Odyssée ensemble & cie, is made up of encouters reflecting is name. Its artistic works has been concidered a longcourse journey.
These encounters have been at first and overall musical. With composers and performers as varying from Pierre Drevet, Mario Stanchev, Pascal Dusapin, Gilbert Amy, to Michaël Levinas.
In the logrun, it is another aspect of the band that preoccupies us, that is, the visual works by Francepol or Jocelyn Pras, the costumes by Frédéric Llinarès, the directing by Jean-Pierre Roos, André Fornier, Amédée Bricolo, Dominique Lardenois, etc…
The theatrical experience of the Odyssée ensemble & cie
Since its foundation in 1995, Couleurs Cuivres (with the production of André Fornier and Jean-Pierre Roos), the Odyssée ensemble & cie has developped a theatrical experience next to Dominique Lardenois with : Opéra Soufflé (produced in March 2000 in behalf of the Musical festival in France «Musiques en scène») and Monsieur K. (produced in march 2001 at the «Théâtre Dunois» in Paris and at the Baroque Cabaret of Lyon).
With «Le Chapeau de paille d’Italie» directed by André Fornier, the Odyssée ensemble & cie faced this experience with the support of nine comedians (produced in the summer of 2001 in behalf of the 8th biennale of the Fort of Bron).
The group has also worked regularly under the observation and partnership of Elisabeth Macocco and Amédée Bricolo.
